A hooded coat with six graphene panels

Six graphene panels warm the abdomen, the upper arms, the back and the neck, so on a long day outside the heat reaches your arms as well as your core. The 7.4V 16,000 mAh pack in the box is the reason this coat lasts: we rate it at 12 hours on Low, 8 on Medium and 6 on High.

The shell is windproof and water-resistant, the insulation is light enough to wear over a hoodie, and the hood keeps snow off your neck. The pack recharges over USB-C, a little faster on a PD charger, and the coat goes in the washing machine with the pack taken out.

How the heat works

What the travel rules say

FAA PackSafe: Lithium Batteries. Spare lithium batteries, power banks included, travel in carry-on bags only, and a power bank taken off a bag checked at the gate stays with you in the cabin. A rechargeable battery may be rated up to 100 watt hours; with airline approval a passenger may carry up to two spares of 101 to 160 Wh.
