The people who run the Soleilwear catalog write every page on soleilwear.co. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.

Facts about the products

Heating zones, heat settings, battery capacity, runtime and what comes in the box are taken from our own product data, one garment at a time. A figure printed for one vest is never carried over to another: the fleece vests, for example, publish no runtime, so their pages print none. Size charts are copied from the charts we publish with each garment, in inches.

The photographs show our own products. Pictures with slogans, arrows or size tables printed over them stay off the site. The glowing panels on some photographs are drawn on to show where the heat sits. They are not a thermal camera. The film on the home page is cut from our own photographs of the range.

What we do not claim

We describe what a heating panel, a heat setting and a power bank do. We do not call a garment waterproof when it is water-resistant, we do not say a battery is approved by an airline or an agency (none approves a product), and we make no health claims about heat. Where a page talks about batteries on planes or lithium safety, it names the public source it relies on, and the date we read each source is printed beside it.

Corrections

If a size, a figure, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to warmline@soleilwear.co. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
